We'd like to give a huge shout out to our amazing panelists tonight. Thank you to Tim Thull for moderating the lively discussion amongst Vince Aimutis, Craig Debban, and Steen Fjalstad about all things cyber-security related. Thanks also to event sponsor Hollstadt Consulting for hosting the event. Favorite quote of the night: "I reserve the right to get smarter". Wise words from Craig on how continuous learning about IT security is necessary because security is never "done". Check out our upcoming events for the summer and apply for membership here. We'd love to meet you at our next meeting in June, a virtual session on networking for introverts! https://lnkd.in/gBuKwDV

It’s hard to believe, but we’re at the halfway point of the 2024 SIM IT Trends Study data collection period. The SIM Research Fellows would appreciate you taking some time to use the personalized link sent to each member. This not only provides great insight to all of our IT leaders on major trends in the industry, but it can also bring funds in for our chapter! New this year - the Chapter Challenge rewards have been doubled! SIM will award $20,000 in SIM Leadership Institute Vouchers to the top three chapters. The Minnesota chapter is currently in 2nd place and we still have time to reach 100% completion! Missing your link? Contact Chris Maurer at csm9y@virginia.edu to have your link resent to you.
